1) According to the specialist, Baby Rod weighs 8.6 lbs as of today. His new nickname is Ibby -- Itty Bitty Beastling. I just add the 'y' on the end to make it sound more cute.
2) Engagement/wedding rings are often worn on the fourth finger of the left hand because the ancient Greeks maintained that that finger contains the vena amoris, or the “vein of love,” that runs straight to the heart (source). That is so romantic! Unless you get your finger chopped off.
3) You should probably plan a trip to Disneyland right now. We were there yesterday and the wait for Space Mountain was 15 minutes. That's incredible! It's usually at least 60. Get packing.
4) The newest episode of Gossip Girl is on next Monday. I am dying to know if Chuck is dying. And I still think Chuck is the baby daddy to Blair's little bambino. I have all along. If it's not, the accident probably caused her to miscarry. Tear. Those are my predictions. Thoughts? Do you hate GG? That's okay, I hate The Bachelor. Sorry, I just can't stand it. To each their own, right?
5) How do you feel about taking small infants to the movies/seeing small infants at the movies? Is it annoying, okay to do if the baby is well-behaved, or just not recommended? I am curious and would like to hear your opinions, please and thank you.
cantt wait to see Lil' Baby Rod!! (:
ReplyDelete& just a lil' itty bitty reminder.. you are
- adorable
-cute
-gorgeous
and lovely. <3
Hi Abby!
ReplyDeleteMy insignificant opinion about babies and movies is: You can take a newborn anywhere. They generally stop crying as soon as you put something in their mouth {bottle, boob, paci..} And they sleep so much! So babies anywhere is ok. When they get a little older...when they cry more and yell and don't like to sit still, then it's more annoying. Unless you happen to have a SUPER well behaved child in which case, take them anywhere, whenever you want :)
You love GG and hate the Bachelor? I love you. I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand that show. I was watching the re-run yesterday and my husband was laughing as I was screaming: "what has happened to him? Is he dying??!!!!!"
ReplyDeletedon't have an opinion about infants at the movies though.. I guess they're too unpredictable. As long as you go out of the room when he starts crying.... What bothers me is when the baby is screaming his lungs out and the parents are still there. It's not like they can still pay attention ...
Well, you're just LOFTed-Out aren't you?? Such a cute outfit...you pull off maternity way better than I ever did.
ReplyDeleteI totally do not agree with taking babies to theaters. Even if the infant is well-behaved and/or sleeping, the decibel level of the sound in movies is WAY above what their little ears should be exposed to. Big "don't" in my opinion.
I love your nickname for Baby Rod! So cute!! :] And I have no idea how I feel about babies in movie theaters. I guess I'll have to test it out once I have a baby and see. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about the ring finger! Very interesting! And I love GG so much. I cannot wait for the new episode! Love the necklace you are wearing in these pictures!

I love your outfit, you are so cute! I was looking pretty terrible by that point in my pregnancy, you look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI say as long as the baby is well-behaved its ok. I took my newborn to a few movies because I was bored out of my mind those first few weeks. I just packed my nursing cover-up and I sat on aisle near the back so that I could leave quickly if she did begin to cry. She did fine. She pretty much slept/nursed through the whole movie.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit might be my favorite so far :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till we get to meet baby Rod in person - and I'm sure you can't either!
And - I love the story about the ring - I've never heard that before.

15 minutes for Space Mountain? I need to get myself over there. Can you go on that ride preggo? And I think take your baby to the movies as long as you can, especially when they are so little and sleep all the time anyways.
ReplyDeleteyou look great! I am also a fan of Gossip Girls. I agree on your theory of Chick`s baby. let`s wait and see.
ReplyDeleteHave a Cupcake sweet day;)

We decided to take my daughter to see Cars (circa 2006). I had just had #2 a few weeks earlier and he was snug in his car seat the entire time.
ReplyDeleteThere was a lady a few rows back that said, very loudly, that we shouldn't have a baby in the theater, but I'm not sure what her issue was.
If he would've cried, I would've taken him out. It was loud, but I am pretty sure with him in his car seat, with a head protector and a blanket over, he was pretty safe.
Do what you want. If people are willing to judge you, then forget them..
